Financial Advisor/Compliance Coordinator

Melissa McIsaac has been with Georgetown Lawley Group since January, 2000. She maintains 36 state registrations and holds the FINRA series 6, 7, 24, 63, and 66 designations, as well as the MSRB series 51 designation. She also holds her New York Insurance Representative license. Melissa began her career as Ron Migliore’s assistant and has worked side-by-side with Ron since 2001. She is the Compliance Coordinator for the office and frequently works with Osaic Wealth, stay on top of the ever-changing compliance standards in the industry. In addition to helping her clients with their retirement planning, she is a Financial Advisor with the ‘Georgetown Edge’ and the ‘J Curatolo Groups,’ as well as the Director of Operations for the Migliore Group.

Melissa attended Erie Community College and SUNY Buffalo State. Her credentials include the ChFC® designation, conferred by The American College of Financial Services, and is an industry-recognized mark of excellence that demonstrates a financial advisor’s breadth and depth of knowledge in the most important areas of financial planning. This includes an education in a number of areas such as insurance, taxation, retirement, estate planning, behavioral finance, non-traditional family structures, small business planning, and more.  In addition, she holds the CPRC® certification from the College for Financial Planning®, focusing on clients' pre and post retirement needs, as well as issues related to asset management and estate planning. She also holds the CPFA® credential from the National Association of Plan Advisors. A Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA) is a financial professional that demonstrates expertise and experience working with retirement plans.

After 5pm…

Melissa lives in Elma with her husband, Eddie, and daughters, Kayli & Kelsey.  She has a love for animals, and in addition to her two dogs, three cats, and two tortoises, spends much of her free time caring for their horse, goats, pigs, chickens, and ducks on their “hobby farm.”  She also enjoys traveling when she can sneak away from farm chores. The family enjoys fishing in the 1000 Islands region, riding roller coasters at Cedar Point, and cruising in the Caribbean.
