Laura became a Financial Advisor with Georgetown Lawley Group in 2022 after Georgetown Capital Group and Lawley formed the new venture. In addition, Laura is a Retirement Plan Advisor at Lawley Retirement Advisors and has nearly 20 years experience in the financial and retirement industry.
Laura holds her FINRA Series 6, 7 & 63, 65 Licenses in addition to her NYS, VT Life, Accident and Health Licenses and she is a Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA). She is a member of multiple industry groups including the Retirement Plan Advisory Group (RPAG), Fi360, Inc., and Women in Pensions (WiPN)
Early on in Laura’s career, her focus was helping individuals with budgeting and cash flow management, retirement planning and investments, college planning and insurance analysis. Her experience and background has been very beneficial for plan sponsors in regards to preparing effective employee education and financial wellness programs.
Laura graduated from the University at Buffalo where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Marketing.
Laura lives in West Seneca with her husband Ray and three daughters, Kate, Claire and Nina. In her spare time she enjoys reading, writing and cooking.
